Celebrating
NYE 2026
on Provo
With 18+ resorts launching fireworks along Grace Bay, there's no more spectacular place on earth to ring in the New Year than right here on Providenciales!
The best part? You don't need a $300 gala ticket to enjoy the show. The beaches are public, the fireworks are free to watch, and the party stretches for miles along the sand.
Whether you want a beachfront bonfire with locals, an elegant resort dinner, just a blanket on the sand with champagne you brought yourself, or a front-row seat from the water on a boat — this guide covers every way to celebrate.
We update this page as resorts and restaurants confirm their plans.

Two concepts, one property. Coco Bistro is a beloved Grace Bay fine dining spot — candlelit tables under a canopy of palms strung with fairy lights, Caribbean-fusion dishes, and that famous coconut pie. Romantic, refined but relaxed. Book well ahead. CocoVan is the casual sibling next door — a refurbished 1974 Airstream serving elevated street food (tacos, sliders, mac & cheese balls, poutine) at picnic tables under the palms. Casual, order-at-the-counter vibes with a lively social atmosphere — no reservations, no fuss.

Open-air Caribbean spot in Grace Bay Market built around — you guessed it — conch and coconut. Conch fritters, conch salad, conch tacos, coconut-crusted fish, fresh whole coconuts with lime. Laid-back vibe, friendly service, island drinks with names like Middle Caicos Mosquito and Grand Turk Donkey Juice. Informal, social, well suited for an unfussy bite without the resort polish. One of the only restaurants in Grace Bay serving real-deal Turks and Caicos cuisine — the kind of dishes you won't find on resort menus. Chef Nik's kitchen turns out braised oxtail with butter beans, curry goat, hash shark, jerk chicken, tamarind-glazed ribs, whole grilled snapper, plus conch done every which way. Located along Leeward Highway rather than the resort strip, it's an open-air roadside spot with full bar, live music most weekends, and a mix of locals and visitors looking for something relaxed, affordable, and unpretentious. More neighborhood hangout than destination dining. Saturday brunch goes full island style: stewed snapper, chicken souse, fire engine (corned beef hash with hot grits).

Open-fire restaurant and craft cocktail bar in The Hub with a 10-foot custom parrilla grill as its centerpiece. Chef James Van Dyke's menu fuses Japanese, Korean, and Mediterranean influences with local TCI ingredients — umami-rich plates, smoke-infused vegetables, pasture-raised proteins, hearth-fired desserts — all meant to be shared (portions are generous). Moody, intimate space with natural wood, brass accents, leather details, and an upscale Nashville vibe. Confident and polished, for diners who want something elevated and design-forward rather than beachy or casual. Handcrafted cocktails with house-made syrups and barrel-aged infusions. Sit inside for front-row views of the open kitchen, or on the patio to kick back with a bit more space.

No-frills spot in Grace Bay Market for budget-friendly comfort food — pulled pork sandwiches, pork tacos, wings, burgers, fish sandwiches, and famously good onion rings. NYE Planning Essentials & FAQ
Everything you need to know to plan your New Year's Eve on Grace Bay — from what to wear to where to park to whether you really need that $300 gala ticket (spoiler: you don't).
-
There's no wrong way to do it:
BYO Beach (Free) — Bring a blanket, cooler, and champagne to any public beach access point. This is how many locals celebrate. Arrive by 9pm.
Beach Bonfire + Local Party ($95–185pp) — e.g. Barbetta Beach BBQ, Reef Rockers
Upscale Gala Dinner ($185–450pp) — e.g. The Ritz-Carlton, The Palms, Grace Bay Club, Seven Stars, Wymara
Casual Beachfront Dinner (à la carte) — e.g. Bay Bistro, Hemingways, Dune
Dinner + Walk to Beach — Dozens of Grace Bay restaurants within walking distance of the fireworks
From the Water — charter a boat and watch the fireworks from the bay
Late Night Clubbing ($30+ cover) — e.g. Blu Bar, Shisha Lounge, Cielo
-
Anywhere along Grace Bay Beach — the beaches are public. Find a public access point (mapped above), bring a blanket and drinks, and enjoy the show. You'll see 18+ resorts launching fireworks simultaneously. It's spectacular from anywhere on the sand.
-
Stock up before NYE — here are the holiday hours:

Smaller shops like Rum & Sun Liquors also carry beer, wine, and spirits
Leeward Highway:
Graceway IGA — Dec 31: 7am–10pm | Jan 1: 7am–10pm
The Wine Cellar — holiday hours TBD
Turquoise Wines — Dec 31: 10am-6pm; Jan 1: Closed
Downtown:
Caribbean Beer & Spirits — Dec 31: 9am–6pm | Jan 1: Closed
Important: No alcohol sales on Sundays or Christmas Day at grocery stores. NYE 2026 is a Wednesday so you're good — but plan ahead.
-
Midnight. All resorts launch simultaneously and the display typically lasts 10–15 minutes. Exception: Club Med launches at 11pm local time (they operate on "resort time" one hour ahead) — so you get a preview before the main show.
-
For resort galas and popular beachfront restaurants, yes — most sold out 2–4 weeks ago, but call to check for cancellations. Casual spots like Castaways, Turks Kebabs, etc generally take walk-ins. Late-night clubs typically don't require reservations but some sell advance tickets.
-
Bad. The area around Seven Stars roundabout gridlocks early. Parking near beach access points fills early. Best strategy: if you're staying in Grace Bay, walk. If driving, park by 8pm (Grace Bay Market has a large lot) and commit to your spot for the night.
-
Yes, but arrange in advance. There's no Uber or Lyft in the TCI, and taxis get booked up quickly on NYE. Call ahead to schedule your pickup — after 10pm will be very difficult to find one on the spot. If you're staying in Grace Bay, walking is your best bet.
-
Resort galas request versions of "island elegant" — some specify all-white (check when booking). Beach parties, casual restaurants, and BYO beach: sundresses, shorts, and flip-flops are perfectly fine. Bring a light layer — it can cool down after midnight.
-
Depends what you want. Galas offer excellent food, prime beachfront viewing, live entertainment, and a festive atmosphere — worth it for a special occasion. But the fireworks look identical from the public beach with a $15 bottle of champagne. Both are great experiences.
