Captain Oak’s Tiki Bar
Location: in da ocean (south side of Provo, near Long Bay)!
How to Get There? If you need a pickup, water taxi is $20 roundtrip and pickup is from the end of Old Grace Drive . Be sure to contact Captain Oak’s to arrange transport!
Ambiance: a floating bar off Long Bay Beach — accessible only by boat, jet ski, or water taxi — Captain Oak’s is laid-back, open-air, and proudly unfussy. Most of the action happens on the deck with a casual crowd of locals, boaters, and expats and the tourist groups enjoying the surreal setting. The vibe hits as island-casual: no pretension, just sun, salt, and laid-back hospitality.
Best Bet for Live Music (in season): DJs for special events otherwise pumping music from speakers daily

A floating tiki bar off Long Bay Beach that keeps things simple: cold drinks and a surreal setting surrounded by turquoise water. Captain Oak’s draws locals, boaters, and curious travelers looking for something casual and real — just good island energy with zero pretension.
“Get over to Oakies! Captain Oaks definitely passed the vibe check, get your ass out there and join the party. Great bartenders and music. High energy environment and a fun place to drink some tequila and make some friends”

“Such a fun time! For $20, they provide round-trip boat transfers. Just have to call their number and they are quick. With low tide, you can walk all the way out there. The guys who ran the place were extremely accommodating. The bar is well stocked with premium options. They were extremely fair with their pricing of both the food and drinks. We all ordered the grill lobster ($35), which was delicious. It was great chilling in the water outside the float. Depending on the tide can be 4-6' deep. There are lots of curious fish that hang around. The music is pumping and he adjusted it to the tastes of who came in. All around a good time!”
