Ambiance: casual, beach bar playing island tunes frequented by a mix of tourists and locals - it is that chill where your kids (or you!) can go play in the sand / water while you wait for your meal (optional of course!)

Best Bet for Live Music: Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1 to 4pm

Food: an impressive selection for a place that calls itself a beach hut - several fresh fish and conch dishes - from apps such as conch chowder / salad / fritters or fish tacos to fish entrees done a few different ways - plus nachos, chicken wings, or chicken, pork, or rib entrees - there is plenty on this menu to enjoy (menu)

Drink: buckets of your choice of beer (local Turks Head, Corona, Heineken, Red Stripe, and more) for $35, $12 glasses of wine, well-made cocktails for $12-14, and an assortment of mocktails for $7 - you can afford to order a few rounds here (menu). If its a special occasion or just celebrating a wonderful trip with friends, they also keep good champagne on hand with Veuve Cliquot and Moet & Chandon bottles ($120-150)

Happy Hour: it is happy every hour here, look at the drink prices, better than you get at many other places on island at happy hour :)

Insider Tip #1: if you have seen the photos of picnic benches in the water be sure to visit when the tide is up

Insider Tip #2: for those of you that judge a place by their margarita - the $14 premium margarita is made with Patron, Grand Marnier, and fresh lime - prices here might be reasonable, but they are definitely not cutting any corners on ingredients here and sure know how to make a good drink

Get here on Saturday or Sunday afternoon and enjoy the reggae island vibes. On the bay beach in Five Cays choose to sit on the expansive deck or if it is high tide, this is where you get to sit on a picnic table with your toes in turquoise water. With a great and reasonably priced menu of your island favorites including some damn fresh seafood, buckets of beer and good drinks, take a break from Grace Bay beach and come here for a wonderful, lazy lunch.
