The Almond Tree @ The Shore Club
Casual only by the very chic and Instagrammable Shore Club standards. Walk into a breathtaking indoor / outdoor open air space - with lush greenery and an imposing almond tree - the setting alone is amongst the best on the island. Many nights enjoy the smooth vocals of resident musician Janardo Laporte. Get dolled up or go casual chic and enjoy a lovely dinner or just pop in for nibbles and a craft cocktail in the bar / lounge area.
Blue Water Bistro @ Wymara Resort
Beachfront seafood and laid-back vibes at Blue Water Bistro — open-air tables on Grace Bay sand, Caribbean dishes, cocktails, and live music several nights a week. Great for sunset dinners, casual meals with friends, or a relaxed night out by the water.
Beach BBQ @ Blue Water Bistro (Wymara Resort)
Wymara’s Sunday night BBQ night is set on a beautiful, secluded stretch of Grace Bay Beach and features an incredible buffet, live entertainment, and a beach bonfire afterwards. These nights are truly magical. Leave your shoes behind and enjoy the sand in your toes for this very tropical, romantic experience.
Bob’s Bar & Eats
Grab a table if you are lucky or simply pull up around around the bar, but head here on Wednesdays to hear the island's quintessential expat band - the Original Bar Band - play from 7pm. Bob’s Bar maintains that island laid-back feel from years ago that is becoming harder to come by on the island. Great island feel and breeze as you overlook the South Side Marina
Captain Oak’s Tiki Bar
A floating tiki bar off Long Bay Beach that keeps things simple: cold drinks and a surreal setting surrounded by turquoise water. Captain Oak’s draws locals, boaters, and curious travelers looking for something casual and real — just good island energy with zero pretension.
Chinson’s Grill Shack
Local‑style BBQ, jerk and comfort food done right — Chinson’s Grill Shack keeps it simple and satisfying. Big portions, reasonable prices, and a laid‑back vibe make it a solid stop if you’re after real island‑style eats, occasional live music or a DJ night.
Da Conch Shack
Feet in the sand, picnic tables under palm trees, turquoise water steps away, friendly staff, the conch man, and even a ring toss game - there is perhaps not a better beach bar on the island to simply let time pass. Kick back with a few (strong) rum punches and enjoy live music Sat or Sun afternoon - or for an entirely different feel, go for their well known Wed night party, featuring the We Funk Junkanoo band, a fire dancer, and a DJ.
David’s Karaoke Bar
A local favorite and arguably the best karaoke bar on the island. A short drive from Grace Bay, come here on Wednesday to Saturday evenings until late for a fun karaoke night – with weekend nights drawing particularly lively crowds. Or stop by and say hi to David after the Love Buggy Island Tour which leaves from here. A big promoter of the local music scene, look for special live music events here as well.
Froggies on Daa Beach
Perhaps what Provo felt like years ago, Froggie’s is about as close to a beach shack as you can come these days. Far away from the activity of Grace Bay, escape to Blue Hills - past the Conch Shack - and enjoy local food, cold beers, and on some Saturday mornings - Davonte Missick or another local musician playing some tunes.
Las Brisas
Perched in an enviable position over Chalk Sound, the views from Las Brisas always impress. Go for dinner at sunset to enjoy the colors and relaxing music several nights of the week. For music, think smooth jazz, soft rock, or chilled out reggae classics - creating a nice island vibe without taking over your dinner table conversation.
Ma’s Authentic Restaurant & Bar
A favorite spot for locals, Ma’s is a great casual place for a quick bite or happy hour or hit Ma’s up in the evening for bottle service, shisha, lounging, and often a live DJ. Offering authentic Haitian cuisine + burgers + pizzas + tacos + wraps, there is something for everyone here - all at some of the best prices on the island. Check out their Taco Tuesday specials with a DJ after party and their Turn Up Saturday Caribbean Nights for great specials and live music.
Noah’s Ark Beach Club
A floating tiki bar in the middle of the ocean about 15 minutes away from Provo – accessible only by water taxi, jet ski, or boat. Idyllic spot, great vibes, quality food, and a full bar (albeit pricey drinks). Chill experience most of the week, DJ + crowded party on Sunday. Lots of celebrity sightings. In the words of DJ Khaled, ‘I wanna go where Drake goes’
Omar’s Beach Hut
Get here on Saturday or Sunday afternoon and enjoy the reggae island vibes of Stanley Roots from 1-4pm. On the bay beach in Five Cays choose to sit on the expansive deck or if it is high tide, this is where you get to sit on a picnic table with your toes in turquoise water. With a great and reasonably priced menu of your island favorites including some damn fresh seafood, buckets of beer and good drinks, take a break from Grace Bay beach and come here for a wonderful, lazy lunch.
Rock House
A striking cliffside resort with bold design, big views, and a mellow-but-stylish lounge energy. Rock House offers live music Thursdays at Vita and DJs Saturdays at the Cave Bar — pair it with great cocktails, proper pizzas, or a sunset glass of wine.
Somewhere Cafe
Kick back on the beach after a snorkeling session in Coral Gardens or catch an epic sunset most nights, Somewhere Cafe lights up at night with live music three nights a week with Julian Garland, Barbara Johnson, and the Seabreeze Band as regulars.
Two West @ West Bay Club
Open-air dining with relaxed resort polish — Two West serves Caribbean-influenced dishes, fresh seafood, and easy cocktails in a laid-back setting near the beach. Occasional live music or beach BBQs add a touch of island flavor, making it a mellow but well-rounded pick for a quiet night out on the west end of Grace Bay.
